The Location:

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.


The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Medical Equipment Coordinator who strives to provide operational excellence and genuine care in a team environment.

  • Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, assists with the planning, organizing, developing, and managing of the Maintenance & Engineering Department.
  • Ensures medical equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, delivered, tracked, and replaced as needed.
  • Develops and maintains systems to ensure equipment is serviced in accordance with established standards.
  • Supervises the work of the Medical Equipment Technicians.
  • Performs other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Office Administration & Technology or related degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years office administration or management experience required, preferably in the field of engineering, maintenance, or construction.
  • Experience with inventory control and loss prevention desirable.
  • Office management skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
